Emergency Procedures

When an emergency such as a fire, flood, or gas leak breaks out you need to be prepared to evacuate. Whether at an abandon building, or other buildings, or in any other public space, it is important to have an established evacuation plan that your group can follow closely in times of emergency. Create an evacuation plan and follow it in emergency situations to help your group get out of a building quickly and as safely as possible.

Plan your evacuation in advance, taking note of the nearest exits for different groups.

When it comes time to evacuate, do so sooner rather than later, and always follow the instructions of the group team leader.
